So far so good… I purchased for my high school daughter. She’s only used/had it for 3 months no issues. leather across the bottom avoids dirt buildup for easy wipe off if you sit it down. I think this bag would be too large to use as a personal item for travel. Also does not hold as much as a standard carryon. So I personally would not use it for travel.
