Jude Duffle Bag In Signature Canvas

I was waiting for Coach to manufacture a bag this size with the wide strap. It's just the right size for me. Everything that I need to carry in a bag fits in without the bag being bulky. I used the Val duffle bag till now. The Jude bag is very similar to the Val duffle bag, but the slightly shorter length and wider bottom of the Jude bag (verses the Val) is more practical to be able to keep things orderly and visible. The quality of the bag is great, just what I expected from Coach.

I love my Coach Hobo bag. I have been using it for about 3 wks now and, typically, I like to swap my bags on a weekly basis. However, this bag is so light and easy to carry (not to mention, it holds everything I need with room to spare) that I haven’t swapped my bags at all. I also own a Coach “carryall” tote bag as well as a Rowan handbag and this hobo has been so comfortable .

I was really looking forward to loving this bag, but I was so disappointed when I finally received it and tried it on. Although the shape and color are beautiful, the photo of the model carrying it on her shoulder under her arm is extremely deceptive. The description says the strap has a 21” drop, but it doesn’t say how short it will go. Judging by the model holding it just under her armpit, I assumed the strap would adjust down to about 10”. Wrong! Adjusted as short as it will go, the bag lands just below my hip… way too long and would continually slip off my shoulder. I do not want to carry it crossbody style, so I will be returning. Very disappointed!
